Jo Watkins is a freelance GP, business coach, mum of 4, entrepreneur and small business owner who combines coaching, business mentoring and her passion of connection and community building into her 1:1 coaching and group programmes.
She has been described as a ‘human catalyst’ who thrives working with medics doing things differently, filling them with the confidence to start, scale and build their own business alongside their medical career.
Jo uses her skills from over 20 years in medicine and 15 years learning business from the grassroots up, making all the mistakes and wearing all of the hats. She is passionate about helping others navigate their own path and giving them the tools and practical advice to do this.
Jo, and her great friend and co founder Polly Crook, have a thriving business with a UK first, online digital platform for teenage girls and running wellbeing events online into schools. The HOW People have been awarded ‘Best Digital Platform in Wales’ in the European Enterprise Awards and were finalist in the Great British Entrepreneur Awards.
Specific areas of interest: Online business, Medics in business or with side hustles, digital membership sites, young women coaching and career advice, mentoring young people aged 14+, growing communities.
